Everyone prefers a different fullness level. Full quantity breakdowns are listed in the Ordering Guide. If you're new to dreadlock extensions and want a full head, I typically recommend starting with around 45 Double Ended dreadlocks so your scalp can adjust to the weight. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out — I'm happy to guide you.

It's normal for your scalp to need a few days to adjust to added braids and synthetic fiber. Some clients experience mild tightness or light itching at first, which usually subsides within a few days. I recommend soaking your dreadlocks in a water, apple cider vinegar, and a dash of shampoo mixture. Rinse thoroughly and hang dry — avoid hot water, as it can loosen waves or alter the texture. Using lightweight scalp oils or serums can also help maintain scalp comfort.

Absolutely! For detailed washing instructions, refer to the "Washing Your Hair & Extensions While Installed & After Removal" section under the 'Dread-ucation' tab in the menu.

When properly cared for, your dreadlock extensions can last through many installs and several years. For each install, I recommend wearing them 4–6 weeks at a time. Avoid exceeding 6–8 weeks per install to protect your natural hair.

When installed and maintained properly, braid-in dreadlock extensions are considered a protective style and should not damage healthy hair. You may want to avoid extensions if your hair is severely over-processed, extremely brittle, or if you're experiencing significant hair loss or medical-related alopecia. When in doubt, consult a professional stylist.

Loose ends can be brushed for a softer look or left alone to naturally tighten and lock over time. For wavy or pre-curled extensions, avoid brushing — it will separate the waves and interrupt the locking process. Instead, gently separate the dreads by hand 1–2 times daily during the first few weeks. For full care instructions, refer to the Pre-Curled, Curly & Wavy Extension Care Guide under 'Dread-ucation'.

Dreadlock extensions can be installed yourself, with the help of a friend, or by a local stylist. They are commonly installed using a basic three-strand braid or blanket stitch method, and many helpful tutorial videos are available online. If you're unsure, I recommend consulting a stylist experienced with braid-in extensions.

Each set is handcrafted individually by me. Current wait times are always listed at the top of the website and reflect creation time. Once your order ships, U.S. delivery typically takes 2–5 business days. If you have a deadline, please reach out before ordering so we can discuss timing.

If you don't see the exact color you're looking for, you can reach out and we can create something custom together or you can fill out our 'Consultation Form'.

Because every set is handmade to order, all sales are final. For hygiene reasons, once dreadlock extensions leave my hands, they cannot be returned or exchanged. If you're unsure about color, quantity, or style, please contact me before purchasing so we can make sure you feel completely confident!
